GE Snippets

A few days after the GE announcement and vote, and things are, as expected, moving along at a pace.

  • The predictable EU, in the form of our favourite piss-artist, Jean-Claude Juncker, has issued another demand; paying interest on the £52 billion you will have to pay to leave the EU! As demands go, and indeed, threats, this is about the equivalent of us fighting off a teddy bear. As stated before, Article 50 mentions NO reprisals at all should a country wish to leave. In our case, the EU Court would surely find in our favour.
  • We have the sight of Seaweed Sturgeon claiming she is going to get the Glib-dems and the Labour party to gang together and stop the Brexit part. We must give Jezza Corbyn his due here, he has dismissed this out of hand. And, true to form, the Greens, jump in and offer tp take Labour’s place. Quite what Tim (can’t remember his name) of the Glib-dems thinks has yet to be established. We get the impression that Tim would gladly sell his soul to the devil for some influence in Parliament, even if he is a bible-thumping rampant religious zealot.

  • The FGM bitch, Miller, has again threatened to intervene and try to tell people how to vote tactically. Quite how, we have no idea, since should Maggie May win the GE, and the Conservative manifesto has included all that she says it will, then there will be no comeback at all. But, if she chooses to keep wasting her money, then GREAT! (And apparently, remainers money too – £250,000 having been donated to her cause already. Look, if you really want your monies to be effective, give the MOGS some!))
  • Meanwhile, in France…… we await the first round results with great interest. All we can say is ‘Go, go Marine’, they don’t like it up them! And the latest terror attack by a Muslim will no doubt drift her forward a few percent in the polls too.
  • And is Kenneth Clarke going to participate in the GE or not? We earnestly hope he’ll do the honourable thing and retire. However, we doubt it. So it is up to the constituents of Rushcliffe to ensure that they will be represented by someone who will represent them. That person is NOT Kenneth Clarke.
  • The EU again, saying a condition of Brexit must be that we keep all the EU laws foisted on us over the decades. La La Land, the lot of them.

The first shots are fired in the General Election lead-up. Did you see Labour’s Party Political shown on the BBC on Friday? (https://goo.gl/tXAOT0) No, well you did very well to keep away from it. It is apparent that this is the way the Labour party views you electors out there – as dunder-headed simpletons who have less comprehension of the English language than 6-year old children. You need to be talked to in words of no more than two syllables, and each sentence must not be longer than 10 words, otherwise you will almost certainly become extremely confused and end up voting for bad things in referendums, or elections. Altogether now – “one and one is two, two and two is four…………..!”
