We feel quite sorry for Ed Sheeran. He is the most mild mannered performer we’ve ever come across. We don’t follow his music but a lot of people do. So to have one of the support acts deliver a tirade of pro-Palestine twaddle SHOULD give Ed the opportunity to get rid of the dross – and he did, to his great credit. As usual Andrew Lawrence makes the case better than us.

You may have missed it – we did, but there was a Council by election on the 15th Sept in East Matkham (Bassetlaw), which had a Conservative councillor.
It now has a Reform councillor, and the Tory vote collapsed by 38%, whilst the Reform vote – as a NEW candidate, garnered 49.6% of the vote. The Labour vote was insignificant. The Lib-dems decided they wouldn’t waste their money.
All we can say is that the country seems to be voting against what is forecast in the polls, and by a large extent. The Tory’s – as we say are done and dusted. Labour? Forget the Burnham bounce, it is a figment of MSM imagination.

Yeah, the Burnham Bounce. If ever there was one. A man who is so caught up with socialist policies, communist ideals and the spectre of old Labour becoming New Labour under his leadership, was ALWAYS going to crumble around him. Most inhabitants of the UK want what he cannot under ANY circumstances give them. Never mind about a 10-year plan which he continues spouting, what about a two-year plan to get us out of the mess we are in.
A two-year plan that guarantees no more boats without spending a lot of money giving handouts to the despicable French. A TOTAL ban on immigration for at least 10 years. Making work better for the workers and non-work TOTALLY undesirable for the grifters, and scroungers in our society – roughly about 90% who are currently on benefits of one kind or another.
We need investment in Industry, Oil, Coal, Gas, Commerce and an open mind as to the climate change issue. We KNOW climate changes happen, the bigger question is do WE cause them. In the words of Victor Mayhew …”I don’t believe it!”. We need to shed the old-fashioned and now out of date notion that Unions actually help their members. They don’t, they impede other workers and are a drain on our society.
This is to mention about 5 or 6 items that Burnham has got wrong right from the outset of his non-election as PM. Many more sit there waiting to be exploded so that our GDP falls below North Korea and we become a 3rd World Country.
Burnham MUST go before he dismantles the Country, and we are all poorer – unless you are on benefits that is. He must go before he dismantles our Democracy. The bounce finished ages ago, it’s just that the man has not got the brains to realise it – there he is on a par with Badenoch, all hope is gone.
