The old-new idea of making voting compulsory is being touted again by the Labour party. And who should be the flag-bearers of this latest non-initiative? Yes, Neil Kinnock – remember him, the great white hope of Labour getting back into power ages ago, until he wasn’t! – and David Blunkett, another Labourite we thought had quietly disappeared into retirement.
The only thing that ‘compulsory’ means is that it is another government stick to beat you with. Hey, the Scientific American a so-called magazine that actively reflects climate change has come up with another ‘fact’. Apparently the Worlds oceans (yes folks, that is every bit of open-water on the entire globe) reached a high of 21.10 degrees last Saturday, breaking all previous records. When we tell you that the previous record in 2024 was 21.09 degrees you can understand our amazement. Amazement that over ALL the Worlds oceans we can get down to a statistic that is 0.01 degree as a variant, and amazement that Scientific American expects us to believe this nonsense.

If the latest Council by elections results are anything to go by, Britain is already truly fucked. And we mean TRULY. Six by elections in totally different parts of the country and ALL returned a uni-party councillor. 3 Conservatives, 1 Labour 1 Green and 1 Lib-dem were elected. So what chance has the country of returning a whole new way of doing things in a General Election (no matter when it comes!)? Given the brain-dead electors we’ve seen so far and the opinion polls to back them up, there is no chance. So, kiss goodbye to your arse – and DO NOT blame the MOGS. We’ve been telling you the story for over 10 years. Fuck the lot of you if you STILL won’t listen!

Starlink is available NOW, so why not go completely Musk, and stop the mad ideas taking route. You don’t need fibre cable anymore for complete access to the World, it’s satellite the Moon, and pretty soon Mars. Elon will have it all.
